Physician's Loft - Condo in the heart of town

This property is in the middle of everything. The loft is perfectly stocked with everything you can’t even imagine that you need. A great place to stay in Bar Harbor.

We really enjoyed our girls getaway and stay at the 'Physician's loft'. The location is perfect for exploring Bar Harbor. We were able to enjoy near by Acadia National park during the day, return 'home', freshen up and head out on the town for dinner and drinks. Renee was a wonderful attentive host.

Property has a wonderful location that allows for the easy exploring of downtown just off the doorstep. Decor was modern, inviting and allowed for some comfortable areas to disconnect, read, or recharge. Had all the kitchen essentials to dine at home, as we tend to like this option during multi-night stays. Would have preferred two full baths, but otherwise this space was just perfect!

Never again. Positive: Location. Clean. Negative: Ad reported 2 bathrooms and it was 1.5 bathrooms which was awkward to share. The half bath had a folder door that didn’t close all the way and had no lock. The beds were hard. The worst part was skylights in the bedrooms meant we couldn’t sleep past dawn and the shower had no place for toiletries. Shower had to be turned on by getting into the shower first so you got hit with cold water every time. We were left a box of chocolates and when we opened them, they were melted and very moldy. Really gross. So we checked all the expiration dates after that. Totally creepy. Oh yeah and the steps going to the front door were unstable and wobbly.
